If you know her.... you know that she is passionate about her civic duty, including politics.

You also know that she is a person who wants the best for the world and all in it.

So the election of a low person like Trump, so focused on hate.... has hit her hard.

Today we had the chance to fight back.... in a way that works for Lydia.

A positive action.... absent of hate.

We participated in the Denver Women's March.

You could almost see the burden lift.... even before she said out loud that she felt better about what might yet be.

This gnarly old dude has appeared in my photo blogs before.... and likely will again.

He sits on the shore line a little bit less than 2 miles south of my favorite fish n chips joint in Carlsbad CA.

When I am in San Diego over the weekend, it is my habit to drive up to Carlsbad for lunch.

Actually I drive almost to Carlsbad.

I like to park at the park that is just south of the Power Station.

That gives me a nice walk into town and a little compensation for the food and beer that I will happily consume.... on the patio at Harbor Fish Cafe.

FTF 1.1.17

This is the first in my new series.... my 2017 photo project.

I am calling it Fill the Frame (FTF).

The intent is to is to post 1 pixture a week.

Any subject is fair game.... as long it is a single subject, that fills the frame.

My first post was shot during our post-Christmas trip to the Sunshine Coast.... to see Wendy and family.
