I have heard it said that shooting in B&W will make you a better photographer.Because it will cause you to pay more attention to the quality of your subject.
This is a pixture that I took on our vacation to South Carolina, last year.... and then forgot about.
I found it again today, while organizing for an upcoming electronic version of a Family Album.
In color there is a nice sunset sky behind Lydia.... but in B&W it is very striking, even without that.
